The Associated Equipment Distributors (AED) named PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC US) and Accruit the preferred providers of like-kind exchange (LKE) services for the second consecutive year in 2016. For more than a dozen years, PwC and Accruit have been supporting members of the AED, and they currently provide LKE services to over 75 AED members.

At the Federation of Exchange Accommodator's recent Annual Conference, the organization presented the President's Award to nine individuals for their continued support of the FEA's mission to support and grow the 1031 like-kind exchange industry.

Ritchie Bros. and IronPlanet have announced an agreement under which Ritchie Bros. is acquiring IronPlanet for approximately $758.5 million U.S.

According to Construction Equipment Guide, IronPlanet "complements Ritchie Bros.' primarily end-user customer base, as it focuses largely on the needs of corporate accounts, equipment manufacturers, dealers and government entities in equipment disposition solutions."
