Doherty has nearly two decades of business consulting experience with Colorado's leading companies in the finance and banking, transportation, hospitality and healthcare industries. He was most recently with the Lockton Companies, where he was a commercial insurance Broker/Producer concentrating on the transportation and logistics industries. In this capacity he closed one of the largest trucking/drill-rig hauling organizations in the world.
Before joining Lockton, Doherty held senior management positions at Strategic Programs, Inc., a consulting firm to the financial services, healthcare and transportation industries; Innovative Marketing & Management Group, where he was a partner in the consultancy, whose clients included Kacey Fine Furniture, Wells Fargo and the Denver Business Journal; and Professional Access, Ltd., an IT staffing and software development company.
